any one used water injection on there engine builds before to lower inlet temps?

looking for some info/feedback looking to use it on mine at some point

I had it on my skyline. It won't give you any more power but it will allow you to increase boost safer as it will cool the inlet air and reduce det. It's a good option if you dont have any room for a intercooler.

i use water/meth on my nitrous daily car for knock protection i bought a pump on ebay that does 80psi and used a screen wash pump as a priming pump and now does 160psi with the regulating switch dissconnected i use 4mm nylon line through the car which is just normal airline so cheap and i bought an aquamist nozzle direct as they are the best atomizing nozzles available and i had a spare nitrous solenoid so use that close to the nozzle

Using a snow performance dual nozzle kit and my inlet temp is the same with ambient air temp.

I've just won one of there stage 2 kits, but it has no nozzle so need to get one

Where do you run yours and is yours intercooler also?

also how did you work out what size nozzles to use for your application?

this is my setup at the moment, any input on where is best and why would be good

Thats what they recomend
Step 3 Nozzle Selection
Nozzle sizing is a function of horsepower, which approximates the
engine airflow, and boost, which approximates intake charge heat.
Recommended starting points:
250 - 350 WHP 625 ml/min nozzle
400 - 500 WHP 375 & 625 ml/min nozzle
500 - 600 WHP 2 X 625 ml/min nozzle


what HP are you aiming for?
