Expansion Bottle Recommendations

Anyone have a picture of a good option for an expansion bottle that would be attached to the scuttle? What car are they from etc?

You will find new Renualt Clio/Kango tanks very cheap on ebay they come complete with cap and have three hose connections.

Other alternatives are Rover 25/200 (nb not 45/400) and Corsa C.

The Rover tank is probably the neatest but 2nd hand ones tend to be very grotty and more expensive than the new Renault option.

That's what I used, cheap as chips from the scrappy and I even managed to get a cap to match the colour of the car.

I used a rover 200 one, cleaned it up in the dishwasher, made a simple ali bracket.

A friend was scrapping his rover so I got it for free, bit stained but I can live with that.

I believe mine was from a Ford Fiesta but not sure which variant, possibly a Mk 4?

Here's one on eBay (NTDWM) to confirm the car it came from
FORD FIESTA MK4 1.3 PETROL OVERFLOW HEADER EXPANSION TANK BOTTLE

Cheers,
Craig.

That's expensive, mine cost £6 from the scrappy and included in that price were some specialist electrical connectors for a BMW immobiliser and a clamp to hold the battery that I got at the same time. Then again, I think that I've had a good morning out if I spend it pottering around the scrap yard even if I don't buy anything

I wasn't suggesting he should buy the one on eBay, I was only confirming the donor type.

I got mine for free so even £6 is expensive

Yep, especially as passenger feet are normally under it...
