Just walking round it in the garage as usual. Renewed my insurance last week. When I gave the mileage declaration the guy told me I'd done 70 miles since last year!

i didn't get to the kit today but in the past 48 hours my tin top has had, new rear shocks,discs and pads and new front shocks, discs and pads! oh and a jolly good clean, and a new fuel filter, air filter and pollen filter! just need to change the oil now!

can you tell the MOT is near? needs 4 new tyres too!

Funny enough I too replaced my rack gaiters and fitted IVA covers for the rod ends.

I also made 2 armrests, upholstered them and fitted them, painted the rollcage again as I scratched it during the build, and I just finished di-noc - ing a bonnet bulge, very nice it looks too.

sounds familiar
(and I just realised I forgot to do my fuel filter again ! - that ~40,000 miles that I've been meaning to change it )


spent most of Saturday and Yesterday fitting one new brake pipe to my tin-top....
also discovered just how small a space I can my hand in to tighten a brake union - and you long that takes when you can only get 1/20 of a turn on the spanners

on the plus side the brakes are as good as they have ever been and its not peeing dot4 all over the place anymore
