What you all need is a TV in the workshop............there's this great reality TV show set in a playgroup where they all sing and dance for a bit then play with this dog called Doodles, then Max (one of the adult helpers) tells tells them a story or goes off to see how candles are made or something....... top stuff when you're bonding pannels to the chassis/ have been welding for a while man........

I'm also now an expert on 'Diagnosis Murder'/ 'Neighbours'/ 'Charlies Angels' etc but think it's about time 'The Dukes of Hazzard' was repeated on daytime TV

Current in-car listening......

Ian Dury
The Darkness
Catatonia
Van Halen
Fun Lovin' Criminals
Happy Mondays
Wolfsbane

Cheers

Dave

PS. re TV - when everything has just gone pearshaped 'Cavegirl' makes you feel a whole lot lot better.........

I love Spongebob Squarepants!!

I make my little boy watch it with me (can justify watching it as some "quality family time" - similiar to Simpsons or Tekeshi's castle!)

Hi if you are looking for a set of speaker get your self to richer sounds buy an amp and a set of speakers it will blow away any pc speaker I have seen and cost the same as well (30 to 40 for a set up that will destroy most pc speaker systems that will cost you lots more). I recently did this my self and you will be amassed by the difference.

My farrot music at the moment is

Delerium
Orbital
PVD (and other DJ mixes)
BT
Chemical Brothers

and many more

I can't believe that Steely Dan hasn't been mentioned yet.

Or Crash Test Dummies.

Or Buena Vista Social Club

In any case, I would agree with everything else posted so far...

As far as listening in the garage, usually it's the classic rock station.

It's interesting how many of you are into rock (of one type or another).
I think it's down to smart people having good taste.
Unlike boy and girl band fans

Here’s what I listen to:-

Nirvana
Led Zep
Rush
Foo Fighters
Muse
Black Sabbath
Metallica
The Darkness
U2
Rob Dougan
Cold Play
Evanescence
The Music

and anything else on that theme

Carl

Good album.

Went to see them last year in Wolves. Out of surprise that they weren't dead yet more than anything

Good show. I reckon "Stand Up" is their best album (1969)

Cheers,

Neil.

Has to be 'Thick as a Brick' or 'Passion Play', (which may take a bit of getting used to)

Concept albums, whatever happened to the concept??

Steely Dans' on tour right now! They were in Dallas last weekend and I missed them

"Two Against Nature" and "Everything Must Go" their latest are my favorites!

In Pheonix it's anything but K.Y.O.T.("all Kenny G, all the time...")

For eighties bands The Fixx was pretty cool.

Did anyone listen to Bill Bruford? One I forgot to put on the list.

rambling..Fletch

Goin for page six on the thread that would'nt die.....
