Looking into building a middy

Hi,

I want a BEC but want a mid engined kit for track day's and sprints.

Is there a builder that I can buy a middy chassis from?

What rear diff is used in the carrier?

Could be wrong but!

Could be wrong but i think this came up previously as a business opportunity, with jigs body works etc. Didn't reach the reserve and the seller told me he would try again and if it didn't sell again he would break up and sell in smaller lots. Possibly this or perhaps a purchaser is using the jigs etc to start again and selling off the original rolling shell. Pictures aren’t good, all looks a little ratty! Anyone seen it in the flesh?

The Sylva Riot is probably the pick of the bunch at the moment in terms of performance per £, and I saw in a kit mag this week that Jeremy Phillips is planning a phoenixesque full body version (which can also be retrofitted to existing Riots).

I like the principle of the R1ot as a simple, light, cheap and fast car - certainly on the shortlist for the nest build.

I forgot to thank you for your contact Zilspeed. I am very happy with the car. The engine is now out. I am carrying out mods to the oil cooler and the pedals at the mo.

Does he have an option for right hand drive? Think I'm dreaming & would never start a project like this. Is it just me or is the build forum almost impossible to read green text on black background.
