Can it be considered a production car? By which I mean, do they carry on making them and then hope to sell them as is the case with other production
cars, or are they made to order (in which case, perhaps the competition would be a bit stiffer?)

Is it really any less a production car than that Caterham they had on? Doubt Caterham build a parking lot full of R500s and hope they sell, to be
honest! In fact I'm sure even the big boys must set production levels to match some kind of sales predictions/orders, even if those predictions
are currently proving a little high due to economic circumstances, resulting in actual parking lots full of unsold cars

Sure, but would you have to order it specially, or do they make them anyway and then hope to sell them? Are there any in showrooms waiting to be
bought?

OK then, if Catrerham qualify then I guess they should include the Ultima.

i reckon it will be on. maybe not this series, maybe not the next, but it will be. see, every series they need a car which will top the board,
assuming nothing much at the moment can beat it, they need to fill with others that can currentlt top the board i reckon

Done - 143.
I believe that there is some history between JC and the manufacturer? Think I read it on here somewhere.
Bit hypocritical for JC to do a programme on great British engineers and then ignore the Ultima......should be flying the British flag from his Ivory
Tower......

I think it stems from a Noble/Ultima grievance and Jezza seems to have fallen in with Noble rather than Ultima.
