NTDWM - SEMSEC, anyone planning to race in this?

I've nicked this off PH, anyone racing in this?

SEMSEC is launching a brand new challenge series for Kit cars in 2009. The

There will be 7 races at over the 2009 season, provisional dates are listed below.
Cars eligible for this series will also be eligible for the SEMSEC Saloons & Sports Championship, South East Sports & Saloon Car Challenge and various all-comer & handicap races.

As anyone who has ever driven lydden will confer it is also a little biased towards anyone with an LSD !!! to say traction is an issue out of the hairpin is an understatement, still what with that series, the cscc series, the 750mc series and various others we are spoilt for choice!

Hi

The reason that the 750 will not be using Lydden this year is because they have put the circuit hire charges through the roof. But they are avin a laugh with some of them entry fees. Brands is bad enough but £310 for two 12 lap races at Lydden. Thats 18 minutes of racing plus your qualifying say 15 minutes total 33 minutes. The CSCC races are £230 for 30 min qualifying and 40 minute races.

And who came up with a class of nothing over 1600cc for CEC cars. Although they do have the higher class where anything goes as such like the NW sports and saloons and the new CSCC. But why a separate race for the smaller class on road tyres and then restrict it to 1600cc and 1000cc Bec's. Kind of eliminates half off the potential customers they are likely to attract.

Cheers Matt
