WRC harness

hi all
my mate has offered me his old harness out off his WRC focus as thay are out off date for the for the WRC regs but are only 3 years old and in mint condition if i fit them to my car will it pass the new SVA and will i be able to do hill climbs and sprints or iam i best just getting some new one that are just FIA aproved
any advice would be supper

Theyl be fine for sva. Dont know about the racing though.

I think if its an msa sanctioned event the belts and competition seats need to be in date. But that might be just for rallying.

A bloody stupid rule I have a couple of willians harnesses fitted but never used, simply because the guy fitted them but then never got the car out because of family extensions..

Also he has a real nice set of sparco seats that he bought to put in after she got tidied up same thing never got used so no good.

Yet you could have a shunt in 1 car today fit them to another for tomorrow!

they will need the relevent E markings for road use to pass SVA won't they? despite the fact that the competition spec will almost certainly exceed the road spec

nope. don't HAVE to be e marked. it helps, but doesn't HAVE to be. have a look at the link i posted above
