zetec cylinder head + kent cams, ported, polished, kent lifters, bronze valve guides

For Sale
2.0Ltr Ford Zetec Cylinder Head (silver top), Gas Flowed & ported, balanced & polished combustion chambers. Kent Cams (fast road FZ2001) correctly run-in with cam lube and surface hardened when engine first started, Kent Hydraulic Lifters (new when cylinder head gas flowed), Kent valve guides, bronze race spec items (new when cylinder head gas flowed). All cylinder head work, including building, done by Andy at Cylinder Head Developments.

This cylinder head was run on a balanced, but an otherwise standard bottom end. It made 192bhp running twin Weber 45DCOEs and custom made exhaust. (rolling road print to prove) It will produce more power if you run individual fuel injection throttle bodies and extend the length of the exhaust primary pipes compared to my exhaust (space prevented me from doing this).
The cylinder head has covered approx 3000 miles of road use and a couple of track days. There are some carbon deposit in the combustion chamber as my carbs were running slightly rich which you would expect, but the cylinder head, cams, springs, valves, guides, lifters etc are all in excellent condition. All oil ways were cleaned when the head was gas flowed. The cylinder head is an early Zetec casting (’93) which have more material around the ports than later cylinder heads and this allow better/easier gas flowing.
Would like to sell as a package (fully built cylinder head) but may consider splitting.
