My Grandad was there and was badly injured. Despite being told he would never work again, he worked until he was 75 (paying taxes etc)! Still a very
active man at the age of 95 (and awaiting another knee replacement op) he broke his leg last month and was admitted to hospital where, having
contracted a chest infection and a kidney infection, he died from a thrombosis! Worth fighting for eh??

I'm currently out of work and deep in financial trouble and now it looks like my wife may soon be out of work too, but this is important enough
that I'd already made a contribution this morning.

Seems like some good news on the cards D Day still be sending off some money though. D Day is
always special to me, one of my uncles took part in the landings and the 6th June is my birthday.
