Cadwell Park - June 2009
Hi All,
MoT have a full day open pit lane at
Cadwell on Friday the 26th June 2009.
Although it's more for MX5's, I'm pretty sure we can squeeze a few kit cars in on the day as well.
Either contact them directly and tell them Pat sent you, or pm me.
Cost is £149.00.
Cheers,
Pat...
P.S. Oh, and if anyone wants a pax ride in my 5 (which should be tubbied by then), I'll see what I can do.
For info, my NA car was lapping Donington about 2 seconds a lap quicker than Bitsablade: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BDcMa9lpe88

Do you not mean the other way round Pat,surely the fireblade car was a lot faster than a 115bhp mx5,time on the above video your mx5 lap was about 1m
44 seconds,a fireblade locost I would expect to lap comfortably in around 1 minute 25 seconds on a trackday.
I would have booked on,but like Chris we are booked on the 6th of July, then again in August in the Clio's

Na, I got the Donington times down to about 1:38 in the MX5 (it only has 115bhp).
Bitsa was only doing it in 1:40 - I did have a passenger though and it was my 1st time at Donington - I didn't think I was going that slow at
the time.
Maybe it's just my diving that has improved.
The 5 has had a lot spent on suspension etc. and handles better than my Tiger ever did - not bad considering it's nearly 1000kg.
Would have been good to mingle with some Clio's - maybe next time!
