Didn't make it....

Well, the best laid plans and all that...

After spending till 2.30 in the garage this morning getting the car finished, we went to put it on the trailer we'd borrowed, only to find it was too wide to fit! Tried driving it, but we've not had time to do more than a v. basic map, and couldn't even get it up the shallow slope we live on...

Will try and get hold of the test station to see if we can get it tested this afternoon instead, and go and hire a trailer from somewhere to take it down there - if not, it looks like IVA for us....

(The trailer normally transports a Spire GT-R around, so I thought that would be wider than a 7 - apparently not!)

Now I don't know whether I feel sick / tired / fed up / completely at a loss for what to do....

Just thought I'd share

Cheers

Vince

when I took my mirage countach home on the trailer the stupid thing was so wide it rested on the railings on the side of the trailer rather than the bits meant for the wheels. Drove all about 200miles like that and it was fine.
