Helmet recommendation
This should have been tacked on to the earlier thread about car helmets, but I had problems with my logon.
Anyway, after a lot of research into a locost helmet I can thoroughly recommend the Oxford Box BX2.
Received mine a few weeks ago and very impressed with the quality. Compares very well with helmets costing around £100 at local bike shop.

This is the same supplier I used on two occasions and I can't fault them. Ordered one day, delivered by courier the next for not a lot of money.
