Denso Alternator to Zetec Pulley and Mount

Having bought one of these Denso (Charade?) alternators I'm looking for a multi vee zetec type pulley to fit the 15mm shaft.

A bit of a long shot, but I'm also after a mounting bracket before I risk purchasing the tiger one.

Beer tokens waiting along with a growing collection of useless alternator parts....

Many thanks!

David

Bracket is easy to make. Did this one yesterday. A bit of 5mm plate. The holes are 50mm apart and the back hole is 5mm lower than the front.

The Four track has a multi v pulley but its not as wide as the zetec pulley. Its also tappered instead of a key way so I cant just turn a sleeve to put the zetec pulley on.

This look like the pulley you want but I would ask the dimensions before buying.

Mine is a pulley off a 1.8d ford alternater. My local auto electrics place sorted me with a sleeve to fit it on the charade alt for nowt.

There is a shaft special sleeve to go i think lucas to bosch alts which is what i got.

Didnt raceline or somewhere do a bracket for 20 quid?

Wasa... I'd weld a triangular brace across that bracket at the bottom. The weld is right on the joint where it will be flexing. Over time it nay crack and the alternator will drop.

I went to the local auto electric place and they found me a grooved pulley to fit the Zetec - it's a bit narrower than the Zetec pulley, but I just bought a suitable belt to fit it.

Which auto electrics place did you use?

Will have a look at raceline. Cheapest I've seen is tiger for about £33 which just seems wrong.

Thanks!
