If in doubt, rant it out

RANT! RANT! RANT!

The mental gymnastics a landlord will employ to justify immoral actions is clinically fascinating. Just because something is legal doesn't make it moral.

well i bought something, not gonna say what but it was on ebay from a shop.

when it was shipped it was slightly damaged (i don't mind that too much) it was chipped paint. but i was missing some parts.

contacted the seller and explained. he responded sorry they weren't in stock so the rest was shipped anyway, they will follow up later.

Contacted again as they hadn't come, and only half the mssing bits had been shipped the rest would follow.

I'm going away soon so i won't be in to recieve them and i'm a bit annoyed something was advertised for sale when it wasn't in stock. I said

This was the latest response

"Sorry about the way you feel.

This situation is out of our control."

Now I'm sorry it's not out of your control. you advertise something as in stock it should dam well be instock!

GRRR

P.S. Its NOT the usual offender

Unfortunately I have found over the years many if not the majority of on line shops do not show live stock levels, certainly non based on E-bay I’ve seen.

I nearly bought a part for my bike yesterday but as I needed it next week did phone up to check they had it, they didn't as so I never ordered.

If you really need it on a certain date, you must call them before hand.

The answer is yes and no! The 'yes' is, as counselled in an earlier reply, rant on here-it will make you feel much better. The 'no' is don't rant to the seller. The old maxim applies....'don't get mad, get even'. He has selfishly made your life difficult. You should seflessly make his life difficult-good luck!

simple really any problems messed about they trying to fob you off just put a claim in with paypal outlining your problems with the seller you will then get the parts double quick or your money back
