Think MK have made a mistake on my chassis

Guys
think MK have welded my gear link bracket the wrong way round, checked with Mark G who is local to me and his is the other side?
Are others the same, as mine is very much over to the right hand side as you look at it straight on from the drivers perspective. Pic attached.

it looks like they have put they provisions in for one of their gear change kits ive seen 2 versions they do

1 where the lever is bolted in the centre of the console

2 where the lever is bolted on to a tubular bracket the

mounts where your bracket is then further down that rail where it looks like there is a hole
unfortunately i dont have a picture of the 2nd one but ive seen it on the red busa car they have at the factory

Looks ok to me, not sure what you think's wrong but if your talking about the bracket mounted in the centre console, then that's as they normally are from what i've seen.

My major concnern was that On Mark G chassis his bracket was mounted on the other side (so left as you look at it), where as mine is on the right hand side.

Its not a problem,it does not matter if its to left or to the right,Ive seen them fitted both sides, when you fabricate your gear lever, just put a bend in it to the left,so its in the centre of the transmission tunnel

when i make my gear change i put it in the middle, would have been better on one side or the other, if that helps
