Front fender wing things
Hi guys,
I was just wondering how easy it would be to change the classis old style wings to the better looking bike type ones....
Oh how technical i am!

i would say fairly
Jst need the cycle wing brackets to suit your uprights,
Just got to bear in mind you will need to cover or fill he holes some how left by the clamshells

Clam shell to cycle wings?
Ain't tricky going clam to cycle, more tricky t'other way round cos you need to fill the clam mounting holes in the chassis....

The ones in the second pic are commonly known as Cycle wings.
They come in a variety of colours from a variety of manufacturers and a variety of prices!
You will need to also purchase Cycle Wing Brackets. These can also be sourced from a variety of manufacturers, but will be specific to the type of
uprights that you have (Escort, Cortina, Sierra, etc).
Then you can just use rubber wiring grommets to plug the holes left by the clamshell wings...

As i thought really, just be left with some holes...

I think the issue you will face is that the Robin Hood appears to use the donor cars front suspension. The Clam style wings help to hide the
suspension. The MK shown above has wishbone front suspension which looks good with cycle wings.

Its an early Cortina based one which usually is fitted with the cortina front subframe, it could look a bit ugly with cycle wings. Looks a nice tidy
car though. not much in the way of rust problems as it is a stainless monocoque too.
