Seeing real rallying like that shows why nobody gives a toss about wrc these days- Matt Wilson etc are girls compared with those guys!!!

Was that the year it started in Wembley. I remember following it (physically) in '79 when it started in Chester.

One word - "MAGIC"

UNDERSTEER is when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
OVERSTEER is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
HORSEPOWER is how fast you hit the wall.
TORQUE is how far you take the wall with you.

there s 4 stages at olivers mount in scarborough on sat 14th. would be rude not to go. check out the entry list, Gwyndaff evans, Stig blomqvist, steve bannister !! proper rear wheel drive specialsts.

No pace notes! Look how close the crowds were!

The TRs didn't sound right though! They were V8s but didn't sound like V8s!

Is it sad to admit I had goosebumps watching that!?

Never mind the driver entry list for the Roger Clark Rally look at the car entry list, 'scorts, Chevette's, Ascona's. .... and I loved that Toyota Celica ST !!! I wanted one of those in my youth! but couldn't afford the car and the insurance on an apprentices wage! nothing changes eh
