CA18DET not running

Starts in limp mode: no MAF plugged in. Does not start with MAF plugged in.

Prior to going out and blowing $100 to $550 on a new MAF, does anyone have any suggestions?

I have tried spraying carb cleaner in the MAF; the coolant temp sensor is plugged in etc.

Thank you in advance.

PS there are no lights on my ecu, so I can't check codes.

Thanks Vorn! I don't know why I didn't think of looking through the pdf (which I have). I'll try that!

Standard ECU for now. I plan on ditching this for MS.

If you have any problems , I have a few factory ECU's and a couple of "chiped ones from 350HP setups .

It wolud be good if you had one with the fault lights as the code system is very good and lets you know what is going on .

Cheers

Vaughan
