paypal crap rubbish rip off
sold my weber set up to a chap in belgum via e bee bay, and he payed via paypal...
good so far...
i check paypal to see that his payment has been with held untill he has received the item and left good feed back....
what the fcuk??!!!
so im a bit stuck....
the price included postage....i cant post it as they wont relese the funds...if he gets it and leaves bad feed back i dont get the funds....or if all
is well i wait 21 days and the funds clear....
what a stitch up!!!
and they even took there little share straight away!!!!

Whats with the freezing the funds? is that a buyer option...
TBH I'd refund him, and tell him you dropped them on the way to the PO and damaged them.
eBay and paypal are becoming beyond worth using.

My wife has had a nightmare with paypal
I wouldnt touch them with a bargepole anymore.
Isnt it ilegal to withhold funds?
It isnt there money after all,sounds like they are trying to keep peoples money to get interest on it to me.

last time i sold something on ebay i refused to post it on the basis that its too easy for them to steal a refund. Id rather sell an item for less
than risk getting ripped off.

I've found out that informing people you don't have a paypal account or use paypal leaves them looking at you like you've just
slipped your todger into their drink.
You'll get the same reaction to telling people your not on facebook.
The horror stories keep pouring in but people keep running back for more.
I used to have a nochex account once apon a time. I've also got a gold account at eBID which i'm sure will
come in handy one day

By which time he'll have filed a dispute and the money gets refunded. You lose out on fees still!!!
EVERY item posted should go Signed For regardless of if its wanted or not. Even then it seems this is not 100% proof to Ebay that an item is
delivered!!
Ebay is so biased towards protecting buyers - its a conman's paradise!!

I still don't understand why Paypal are getting away with holding somebody elses money!
If wanted to pay my friend £100 through paypal they take my money charge me a handling fee and then give it to my friend.
At what point is the money there's?they get a fee to handle it not keep it and decide when my friend can have it/or not!!
Something very wrong here.

i'm guessing this explains why the last few things i've purchased with paygay from outside the country have taken around a month to
arrive, previously ordering from hongkong china was quicker than waiting on royal fail

ever tried to get paypal to make good on their purhase protection promise? dont even try, they tie you up in so many knots you forget just what you
were actually trying to do, i sent a customer survey back to paypal and they wouldnt accept it due to all the swear words i used in the form!!!
