Im looking to setup a new site for meetings for Locost owners and builders in Lincolnshire.
Would anyone be interested in joining?
We can share donor cars and parts etc.
Please leave a message if this maybe of interest to anyone.

Lincs is quite a tall county. I'm at the posh end (the south) and the Peterborough (cambs) meetings are much closer to me than the north of
Lincs.
So I think region more than county is the defining factor for local meets.

ERMMMMM
i have just moved from LEEDS to kirton lindsey.
I have taken my kit car this week and im getting on with it.
FOR THOSE WHO ORIGINATE FROM lincolnshire feel free to join. Ill be setting up a website with info about peoples builds and forsales simular to this
site but more local. Then we can have a local club.
FOR THE POSH ones who live in the the south end of lincolnshire (firstly your not posh and secondly you can join too) if you dont bring gold plated
KITS.
Thank you all for your responses.

I live in Lincoln itself. I'd be up for it. But alas my car is far from finished.

My car is miles from finished too.
i have engine, chassis, wheels, hubs some body parts and steering sorted. i have an engine too and diff.
so i have lots to do.
with us living miles from main cities would be good to see if we can trade knowledge and buy in bulk for panels etc.
Thanks

My mother was a Yellow belly but I was born in Hull, not too far away.
Could join you for meetings,
Denis.
Where did that go?

Well thats inspiring, seems there are a few builders in the immediate area. It would be good to be able to swap info and perhaps the odd tool. I
think we should definately do this. I can help with artwork, logos, stickers etc.
Is there a posh end of Lincoln? All I know is I can see that big church thing from my back bedroom window. hehe
Also it seems that we all work behind desks and check locostbuilders in work time. tutut

Lincolnshire is funny, in some ways it's like the deep south in america. Lots of destruction derbys/banger racing, trucks, farmers etc
The mental gymnastics a landlord will employ to justify immoral actions is clinically fascinating. Just because something is legal doesn't make
it moral.

farmers. lol
Yes ok maybe lincs has a wierd reputation but im here now to sort it all out.
by the time i have finished it will be the locost capital of the WORLD.....
oh ok maybe not. but i will make sure that its a good place to meet and discuss builds etc
im hoping that Locostbuilders will help us by adding links if we add links to the club site.
would love a place where lincs people can go to see if anyone local can help with certain tools or bits. i live near the cheapest scrappers ever and i
have been getting bits sooo cheap but i would like to buy in bulk for alluminium and steel tubing.
Thanks
