carbon tunnel??

Basically how hard would it be to use this...

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/CARBON-FIBRE-CLOTH-FABRIC-200GSM-2X2-1-SQUARE-METRE-/150444817125?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item230735bae5

to cover the transmission tunnel and make it look half decent?

Does anyone have a how to guide? Could I cover all the tunnel ally panels and have this so it can be removed?

once covered though for the transmission tunnel could you 'slide' it off?

Mine is CF, but made in sections to make inspection easier. I have 3 pieces per side (to enable inspection of the prop etc) and a 2 piece top. I wouldn't do it in one piece, as it will be a pain to get off, and a pain to make if you haven't made a mould before.

Man that roof must have about 8 litres of resin to cover that. It is pretty funny to see that though. Steve, you are indeed nuts.

Reading the details it bonds to the surface of the object you're putting it on, so ideal for a tunnel top as long as I leave some way of taking it off again!

Well Caterham doesn't screw their tunnel tops on. So if you cover the top you have, and don't attach it, it ought to all come off easily. My ally tunnel cover doesn't attach, and just sits there. Where is possibly going to go?

one pre-preg tunnel. pic taken fresh from the mould and in the midst of being cut back for spraying, hence the wet look!

....and fitted
