P A S S E D

Passed IVA today and am now on the road with tax and new number plate.

My noise was 96 dB from 101.7 with my home made baffles on coat hangers inserted up the pipes.

Not going to post again this evening as Im going to bolt on the plates and go for the first drive

Well done - the peugeot Speedfight mirrors did the job then?

I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/furoreproducts/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1

Nice one! Getting your registration sorted the same day as well. Not many manage that.

Just got back. Really good fun. It went better than I expected for the first run. However one corner from home the rear sierra caliper stayed on. Left 10 mins if released itself. Bit of a pain. Suggestions??????. Last night i wound the piston back and this seemed to work. Passed the brake tests at IVA yet mucked about after about 10milles.

Sounds like you need to pop the piston out and give it a polish. I do them in the lathe with duraglit. WD under the rubber dust seal can help as a temp fix. Big Red on fleabay for seal kits!

Look forward to seeing it in the flesh, well done!
