1.8 zetec blacktop with type9 gearbox
just hoping someone out there has some info on how to mate these two and best option for carbs\injection i am fitting to mcsorley +4 chassis so space
should not be an issue

I would try to get hold of a ST170 inlet manifold and use this to mount some motorcycle throttle bodies from a GSXR 600 or 750.
Although FastDan on here can make you one from Aluminium, I have one from him and they are very well made.
You will also need a Pinto friction plate with 23 splines to fit the input shaft of the type 9, A sandwich plate to which one of the above links
refers.
The trust bearing on the type 9 will need changing for a CT133 (Capri) type as they are a little thicker.
A spiggot bearing needs inserting into the hole in the centre of the fly wheel to support the input shaft of the gearbox.
You may also need a fuel rail double ended so you can have flow and return from the tank.
