exhaust manufacture

Evening all,

A little help needed please,

with my new engine coming soon i am looking to get a new exaust system.

many have recommended Simpson's but it is mega expensive! Can anyone recommend any other company's that know what they are doing when it comes to manufacturing a performance exhaust system. preferably local to the midlands but travel isn't a problem.

All the best

Alex

I love Pinto's, even if i did get mine from P&O!

Loads of kit car companies use them to make their exhausts and sell them on.

For example, 4-2-1 for a busa fury(excluding can) is about £550 from bgh..... £260 if you buy direct

They do custom systems too. Great quality and a good price.

Not far from Milton Keynes is Exhausts by design between Brackley and Buckingham.

Highly recommended to me so I went to see him. He does a bespoke service and very good workmanship, but it's in the £550 price range for my car and he needs the car for a couple of days.

So I ended up making my own. I used A. Graham Bell's book (4 stroke performance tuning) to design the pipe lengths and diameters. I bought a second-hand s/s competition system with the right sized pipes and flanges plus some new straight s/s tube, chopped it all up and remade it to fit my car - £140.

It's ok.

Still got the spreadsheet somewhere if you want.

best
Dave

I've just had my exhaust system made by t-logic

http://www.thermallogic.co.uk/

He custom made me a T28 turbo elbo and then a full exhaust system with can for £300

its all high quality stainless and the welding is amazing.

Neil is a nice chap, just a one man band. He used to make all the prodrive subaru exhausts so he knows a thing or two.

Ill get a pic up soon

Flan

Why didn't i just make it simple!
