New Mondeo switch question

Tonight I found a little on/off rocker switch on the side of the transmission tunnel in my '10 Mondeo Titanium. Anyone happen to know what it's for? I've even looked in the manual but can't find it.

Nope, pressed it already and nothing obvious happened. Whatever it is it was switched off before and switched on now.

On the side of the plastic bit of the tunnel by your left leg. I have front parking sensors but haven't had the front end particularly close to anything yet so operation not checked. According to the manual there should be a switch on the dash itself (but there isn't) and according to t'internet they should only operate when parking (i.e. after selecting reverse and then pulling forward again - not seperate switch). Could it be for these?

Yes, it's a new one but it was delivered a delivery company from a dealer on behalf of the lease company so the delivery driver couldn't tell me much about anything on Friday when it came.

I'm thinking heated seat too.

Flick it one way then leave it for a month, then flick it the other way and see if anything happens or doesn't i.e. burning backside, beeping when reversing etc
