steering damper question!

when fitting a bike engine in a car if you leave the steering damper sensor plug loose i,e not connected to anything does the ecu read any faults engine is a k8 gsxr. thanks.

You will need to replace the steering damper with a 12ohm resistor of about 10 watts capacity. Without the resistor, if you are using the Suzuki speedo, it will show an FI fault all the time.





If it can't be fixed with a hammer then its probably an electrical problem.

thanks for that mate will pop down to maplins the weekend (these newer engines are a bit of a pain wish i had of gone for somthing older now!)

No you won't when you get it going. They fly
