Which tank?

Apart from Spitfire are there any tin top fuel tamks that may fit in a locost? For some reason a Spitfire tank is an inch too long, but I did get the chassis 2nd hand.

mini van tank is also supposed to fit.

Quite a few people make them - a number also sell them on ebay.

After my fuel tank disaster, if your going to get one made, make sure you stick to a company who have a good reputation for a) being able to weld, and b) being able to add up.

There are quite a few companies on ebay, as well as obp etc who sell standard sized tanks that should fit in for a very reasonable price.

Why not give Martin at Mk engineering a call, he's only 30mins down the road and has made all my ali tanks for all 4 kitcars including header tanks etc.

Good prices and quality work.

I used a minivan tank. It won't fit a standard chassis but it's a mnor mod to fit if you're still building.
