Yeah!its quite tall and the gearbox bell housing is quite low.but the biggest head ache for me was the wiring using the original ecu.glad I persisted tho,the cars chuffing mad as a box of frogs in every gear, yet to have been had off,up to erm,70mph(give or take 50) and I've got a friend with a lambo giardo....

Great great engines If I wasn't building one with my current set-up it'd be a either the SR20DE or the Turbo version. if you want an NA the sr20de can quite make more poke than a duratec for less cash.

Yer its a tad tall but worth it!!! ive got mune under locost GRP (Mines a Luego) dont worry about the wiring as i have a guide and its only 6 wires to get it running the stock ecu

there lots of fun with really crap tyres on the back

poor engine, bouncing off the limiter for so long. Mechanical sympathy not part of your vocab?!

Nope....it'll be fine its a Jap motor

if you go to any drift day they bounce them all off the limiter constantly and keep going strong!

although that was the first time ive ever bounced it of the limmiter for such a long time.... but it was allot of fun

Dude, My engine came from an auto S14a (with Nats) but i then bought a s14 (not s14a) loom, ecu and maff meter which did not have the nats. You can use the nats but you need to keep the key and sender and tape the key into the halo round the barrel...only a few more wires to solder up.

Cool!

FYI I had to cut my chassis to get it in but mainly so i could mount it as far back as posible. Also mine is mounted solid (no engine rubbers) its fine, no vibration at all.

ill pm you the wire diagram

Flan
