Tadpole strip for rear arches, how to fasten?
Granted this may be a stupid question to many. The strip I have has 40mm tail and it looks as though I will have to cut triangles out of it to sit
correctly along the end of the rear arch.
My question is do you use double sided tape to stick it to the wing before you then bolt through to the bodywork?
have I bought strip with too much tail or is the notching out quite common for any-size?

I notched mine and stuck it to the wing.

Notched trim and didn't stick it, just clamped between tub and arch

notched and superglued, which all peeled off the first time I took the arches off, now just stuffed back in place and clamped by the arch

Just clamped between the wing and rear panel, bolts pass through the trim

Thanks for the replies guys. Looks as though notching is quite normal although the pictures there seem to suggest that one is not. I will try to
stick to arch and notch as I go to make it easier to keep in place whilst I work.

Notch it and don't be shy.
If you want to make it slightly easier for fitting and especially removal and refitting if it ever happens, then rivet the piping to the wing in a few
places...

notched and evostick impact adhesive on mine.. Used PVC P trim.
