High idle

Good evening guys,im tearing my hair out trying to work out why the engine idle when warm is 1200 rpm, shouldnt it be around 900 ish?And how would i go about turning it down?im running black top zetec, jenvey throttle bodies, mbe ecu.
Ive got a laptop and easimap software available.
I think ive read something a while ago about adjusting the timing,Not sure how i would do this.

Any help please!

Chris

Could be a few things tbh

Is the TPS set correctly and does its voltage correspond with that in the map ?

Has it always been like this or is this something that has just started to happen ?

Balance throttle bodies, air leaks ,no slack in throttle linkage, twisted throttle shafts, butterflies not centralised in throttle bodies, over advanced ignition timing can all cause a fast idle

You are probably leaking air past the butterflies. You will need to closely inspect them against a light source to see if there are any leaks. If you cannot achieve a perfect seal then you can try retarding the ignition in the map - I have reduced my idle this way.
