Dellorto 45s vacum advance???

I'm in the midst of changing out my pinto for a red top. I'm going to run the red top with an MBE ignition and the 45's from my pinto. Question is the pinto had a dizzy with the vacum advance going into one of the 45's, what do i do with hose going in to the carb? Take it off and blank it?

thanks in advance for any help

Sandy

Why would you need vacuum advance with electronic ignition (sorry if that's a daft question)

To sense engine load the electronic ignition will use a manifold actual pressure sensor (MAP) which needs to see vacuum from all 4 runners or throttle position sensor (TPS) which would be a reostat mounted on the throttle butterfly rod.
Some crude ECU's may only need to see the engine revs but that would provide a 2D ignition map only.

If you had the vac advance plumbed off one of the chokes on the Pinto carbs then the ignition timing must have been jumping around something awful.
