IVA piece of cake !!!!

Just passed my IVA today at nottingham, very pleased and relieved.
It wasn't the nightmare I expected Martin the examiner was very thorough and very fair, only picking a couple of minors but letting me put them right there and then.
Big thanks to Steve at Aries who pre IVA'd the car and trailered me there and back, this was the reason for the first time pass I believe as Steve spotted quite a few things which we put right yesterday.
Build your car right read the IVA manual and get good advice (Steve) and IVA is not the nightmare eveyrbody makes out, well at nottingham anyway.
Registration next !!!!

So you're saying that IVA is a piece of cake as long as you take it to a major manufacturer and pay them money to correct and rectify all the mistakes and then take the car to the test for you and bring it back as well?
Well done though, it's a great feeling, I remember it well. Mine was more a gobsmacked feeling than anything else

Nicely done - helps having someone who knows their onions and fresh eyes to help doesn't it!

Enjoy the summer

Very chuffed,
Mister grumpy living up to your name I see !!! Steve only charged me the equivalent of 2 days trailer hire and a re-test so worth every penny and having, as you put, it a major manufacturer at my disposal for two days was invaluable.
Aries motorsport and nottingham IVA station highly reccomended.
Bring on the sunny weather.
P.s built pics on blog bit to" merry" to upload new pics at mo

Sorry mate. I just remember my SVA being quite hard for me what with emissions and what not and really stressful what with all the logistics and having to go to work. Not trying to steal your glory, revel in it, it's a great feeling
