plastic half round moulding wanted
I am on the look out for some half round or arc (to want for a better word) plastic, nylon or something not brittle to go on the bottom of my project
boat as a rubbing strip, white would be best, boat is 15 - 16 ft looking for 3 lengths approx 30 40 mm wide.
Bit of a random question but you get answers to just about anything on here..
Thanks
Mac

Outside the box but at work some of the supplied tail lifts come with like an M shape rubber extrusion with a staianless steel strip in the valley of
the M to srew it on with. Very hard and durable and perhaps worth a look.
If it looks wrong it probably is wrong.

You could try here: http://www.portmererubber.co.uk/ I bought the trim for my SVA from here and it was half the price of the usual suppliers, they
will probably have something that would work

Thanks guys, i looked at using wood but i recon plastic wood last longer, also easier, i'll give them a ring monday, the hdpe sounds a good one
as it wont grip on certain surfaces where rubber would. Might get some rubber for the top rim of the boat.

costs are a lot higher than i was anticipating, bought a length of hardwood decking from b+q and an ally strip for the keel.
