pinto megajolt map

hi all

got my kit car back on the road after a winter rebuild and all is good.

only thing that needs attention really is the megajolt map, i got sne tone by a member with a similar-ish spec to mine it goes very well but i still dont feel it's quite right.

10.5:1 CR
piper 300 cam
2.1 litre
mildly ported efi head
zx9r bike carbs on a bogg bro fannymold
4-1 exhaust
always run on super unleaded

thats all i can think of really, does anyone have a map or a screenshot of a table i could steal off them please?

andywilson10@hotmail.com

many thanks, andy

Andy I think I have one for a highly tuned Pinto, I will try and email it at the weekend.
However, all engines are different and the only real way is to rolling road it.
Your map should be something like this......
16 to 18 degrees at tickover 1000 to 1200 rpm rising from 1400 rpm to 38 degrees at 3600 to 3800 rpm, that should give you a 2d map to start with more advance under the curve when showing more vacuum

Heres one to try... worked well on my pinto. The extra advance on low idle helped with cold idle.

I had others with a bit more advance on WOT around 3500 onwards.
