Thottle / clutch cable for R1 Bec

Guys, what thottle cable / clutch cable can i use for my car, it has a floor mounted pedal box, and i'm running a carbed R1 engine, any advice would be great.

Do i buy a kit and make my own cables, or is there a standard cable i buy and modify to suit?

UNDERSTEER is when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
OVERSTEER is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
HORSEPOWER is how fast you hit the wall.
TORQUE is how far you take the wall with you.

i bought a goretex Mountain bike brake cable inner and outer cable for my zzr1100 engine for the throttle and it fit and works fine. there was 2 ends on the cable (the road end fitted the carb)

hope that helps.

I've got an Escort mkII cable in mine for the clutch, and mountain bike brake cable for throttle.

Same as MK9R for me as well. works fine, and cheap to replace.

Venhill clutch cable for me after 3-4 motorcycle ones. A touch dear but with the liner it's way superior.

I found some good quality motorcycle clutch cable on eBay and used them for both clutch and throttle cable. Just be sure to run them as smoothly as you can down to the engine to ensure a restriction is not caused. I used cable clamps and as a precaution soldered sleeves onto the ends to ensure they can't pull through. Simple and cost me about 15 quid all in. Just to note I did add another spring onto the throttle butterfly to aid it's return as well. I also used a reasonably stiff spring on the clutch pedal otherwise it was simply too light.
