Rover T16, a little help please

Bought a T16 engine a couple of years ago, and have never got round to doing anything with it, so now might be the time.

Firstly I don't seem to have a wiring loom, so if anyone has a spare it would be nice

Second, I don't know if the ecu's are locked or not. Anyone know?

What am I going to need to see if it starts?

Does anyone know what wires are required from the loom?

T series with MEMS ecu ?

Ecu is coded to the security module and engine you would need to get the ECU neutered.

If you connect it without disarming it will start once only then won't restart until you disconnect the battery the ecu resets and it will start once only again.

Didn't Robin Hood have a kit with a T16 for a while? Might be worth looking on RHOCAR?

Would early T series MEMS ECUs not be coded then? I ran a N/A T series in my grasser & it was easy to get going, there only was 5-6 wires outside of the harness between the engine & ECU that were needed. I just pulled it all out of a car in the scappy, got a wiring diagram from the dealer (Rover were still in business) & worked out what was needed. I remember an Earth, Permament live, Ignition live, Starter signal & Fuel pump output live.

That would have to be a very very early T16 series if not the M16 series ...
