zetec focus fuel rail question

hi im not sure whats the fuel inlet and whats the return side in the standard focus fuel rail.

why is there what looks like a fuel regulator at each end? can someone explain.

im planning to either replace my st170 fuel rail with this or modify the st170 rail to make it return .just need to know which is the fuel return side.

Zetec Focus fuel rail question

Hi,

Jamster is correct. The valve on the inlet side is for connecting a fuel pressure guage. The diaphragm in the supply pipe is a pulse damper.

Regards,

Andrew,
