Baffle kit for R1 engine
Hi all
Could anyone recommend the best place to get a sump baffle kit for a Yamaha R1 5JJ engine please?
In fact, whilst I'm at it, which electric water pump would you go with and what's the preferred aftermarket air filter please?
I'm told there isnt a dry sump kit for the R1 and it doesnt need one anyway.....
Cheers
Rich

Yup as above, Andy is the one to call.... I'd assume he has something, if not i know Graham Hathaway sells a Baffle plate for the 5JJ and 4XV as
he ran them in the globals.

Electric water pumps, this was strangely talked about on MotoGP a couple of weeks ago, and the judgement seemed to be non of the teams ran electric
water pumps because no-one trusted the technology, mechanical is driven by gears within the engine ( tried and tested ) electric requires an external
power supply. A can of worms
