Is that the same box that was used in the 2wd cosworths? They vary for car to car i.e. TVR, Jeep etc. Ill do some homework and get back to you thanks.

Hi Chris,

When do you need one by?

I bought one the other day to see if it will fit in my MK Indy. If it doesn't, it will be for sale and I'll use one of my spare type 9 boxes. The type 5 BW is from a 2wd Cosworth and one of the 'world class' versions.

The person I bought it from said it whined in all gears (guessing it was one of the bearings)... so I started to rebuild it today. Still at the disassembly stage.

Needless to say 5th gear broke when I used the gear puller (apparently 99% of them do due to a bit of a design fault).

So it's looking like it will need some new bearings and a 5th gear, but may be up for sale depending on whether it fits.

If I do sell it, it could be sold as complete (reconditioned) or as parts if you wanted to do it yourself (for cheaper).

So when do you need one by? Where do you live anyways?

Graham.
