Carburettor fuel supply

Not exactly kit car related but thought you guys could help.
I'm converting my Porsche 924 from K-jet to weber DCOEs. I've sorted most of it but not sure what to do with fuel return. I'm going to run a low pressure carb pump and pressure regulator feeding the carbs. The original injection system has a fuel return. Would it be necessary to use this or just blank it off as most carb setups seem to do without?

Thanks in advance.
