Hmm, a few people I know passed away this year. One had an "s", others didn't.
BUT, they all died on a day that had a "d" in it

I appreciate that no-one may have noticed this but s is actually one of the most common letters in names and is in fact the most common letter to start a name with - eg the telephone directory section for s will be the largest

Is that so? Then what is your explanation? It is not age nor gender related but 90% of the celebreties that died had at least on 'S' in their name - what more proof do you need?

There's probably more "e's" in there but I really can't be arsed to check

If all the people that died had z's in their name, I'd be impressed, but as "s" is prob in top 5 most used letters, I can't get excited.

Now you are being silly. Death is non reversible so ofcourse all those that have died remain dead - what is there to explain?

In fact in all of human history there is only one individual who came back from the dead and we will be celebrating his birthday soon. The debate whether that is actually true has been going on for nearly two millennia but strangely his name had three 's' so decide for yourself.
