Desperate

All

I need a frame for a locost window.

Can anyone help? Where can I buy one as the one I have is knackered and I am in no way wanting to make one as I have hands like slabs of butter. I could buy a 2B Robin hood one as that will fit but window and frame new is 90. Too much.

Window was replaced the guy ruined the frame and I tapped the holes from M6 to M8 and cut excess from squint frame to flush fit between brackets. Fitted it and cracked it. No way will it split again and be usable to get glass and fit again.

Losing the plot completely now and trying to keep it together long enough to fit window and then wipers I have as don't want to have an aero screen due to kids and family wanting to enjoy trips in the car without helmets on.

Cheers

go to your local glass place with a template and get one cut from laminated glass. I know people have had this done for ~£30.
Combine this with the robin hood frame.

When you say local glass place do yo mean Autoglass etc. or a glass maker?

autoglass or a local independent car window maker should be able to do it. At worst they can cut down a land rover screen, or something that's flat.

A window manufacturer ought to be able to do it but I don't know how window grade laminated glass compares to automotive.
