Carburator fuel feed conection

Hi guys
What the best way of removing the origional fuel conection point

As in the regs it has to be a screw in type union.

will it pull straingt out or does it have to be drilled

It should pull out with a pair of mole grips. They have been known to fall out which is why the regs insist on a screw-in fitting. Maurice
