Off Topic: Heel Repair Rubber?

So here's a challenge for the collective... Don't let me down.

I have a pair of 'comfortable' boots which are in danger of being binned because I cannot find anyone to repair the heels.

The trouble is that the heel material is white (or cream) and apparently no one makes this for repairs

So, anyone got any idea where I can get some heel repair material in white?

look for a pair of abbatoir boots and cut the heel off those.

Or, just stick to your high heels.

This is going back many years, but my mother had some white high heels repaired at Timsons, she basically snapped it off when it got caught in a drain cover. They came back as good as new. Whether they do heels for gents flat shoes is a different matter, got to be worth a call if you haven't already..

Ta for that, I tried them first but it seems that these days they only have a limited amount of material to work with.

Sign of the times mutter grumble.

Get a normal repair done in black, and cover the black up with white insulation tape. What's good for Compo's belt......

I was gonna say something similar. Get the repair done in black and then just get some white/cream paint to match.

I thought it was your sole purpose.

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

I'd go for a change of colour and do both heels the same.
