MT75 gear lever pin problem

Hello all,
i have problem with the pin under position 5. It is very loose and if falls from the engine/gearbox vibration. Can i put a bolt there and secure it with nut or should i look for another solution? Any ideas? I think there should be some gaitor there - does it cover and hold it?

Hi there, interesting you say this as I had the same problem but only remember now you mention it. I think I just tie wrapped it!!! I have done 1500 miles in it so no probs. if you find a better solution let me know.

Are you mounting it to a zetec?

There is a wire clip that goes around it. You can see there is a groove that it sits in. Will see if I can find a photo.
