Newbie to this kitcar lark!

Just purchased a velocity xt, zetec powered. Wanting to gain some info, advice from fellow owners that being:-
1) I have since locating the car being trying to find the history of the Luego, where it stemmed from and where it is now?
2) my car doesn't come with a front screen, so been deciding if to fit a Double bubble aero screen or a slim line aero screen. Does anybody have any experience's with any of these two. Pro' s and cons!
3) wanting to have fun on a few track days, seeing Blyton is my local. Been reading on the best track day tyre and the Toyo R 888 appear to be the babies, but noticed allot of drivers opting to fit 13" wheels. I have 15" x 5.5 wheels on at the minute. What's the crack and what's the optimum sizes , front and rear, as I will be doing 50:50 road, track.

Any advice from the o'wise ones would be great!

Track days, invest in a set of 13" wheels and pop on some second hand slicks

You will outhandle everything on road tyres for pennies.... I had yoko 048's at £70 a corner, two track days and knackered, slicks at £15 a corner and still going after 4 track days, mostly open pit lane.

Downside is better grip so greater chance of oil surge and higher loadings on the suspension

Luego were in Peterborough when i bought my chassis/body about 7 years ago, it went bust round about 4 years ago & went quiet for a while.

I believe someone bought the name etc & they are now based in Scotland, i think they only do the Viento now but im sure they are still making the Velocity as a track car & can supply body parts if needed.

When original Luego (Peterborough) went under, a few guys lost out where they had paid for parts but they didnt send them.

I lost out but only about £40, mind you, i found the people that Luego used to make their exhausts, called the company, the guy had a Luego Zetec full exhaust on the shelf so i paid him over the phone for it, I only paid about £250 for it, Luego had quoted me about £600 a few months earlier
