had a cracking day at croft on saturday, it even managed to stay dry all day

No the old girl's not dead, she's just had a mild stroke.

The oil pump drive had broken, Pete got the engine switched off very quickly,I think it'll be fine. New pump and drive ordered.

Enjoyed those, good battle with the Caterham, was it a superlight R?

Sounds like you have been lucky Andy, handy place on track for it to happen aswell just in time to roll into the pits, but never good missing a afternoon of track time

great video there very quick indeed and a nice tussle with the caterham/westy

caterham looked very quick was it a r400 superlight?

im sure you must be very happy with the new engine looked very quick and well balanced, a real screamer,

The white Caterham is a R400 duratech, 210bhp I think, and the orange Westy is a Megabusa 1.4 about 200bhp. Mixing with some quallity machinery there.

Of course, the real opposition died early on.

A caterHam valente a rare car on tack, was that a quick car or not?

Yep mixing with some quick cars shame you had issues with the pinto but lucky it happened there as Paul said,

The Lavante is a regular at Croft, it's a very quick car with perhaps not the quickest driver. I know the two cars in the 3rd pic down caught and passed him. Did you encounter him on track at all Rich?

didn't see the lavante at all on track. didn't come across the MNR either.

yep, happy with the engine performance. it didn't seem to do to badly against the caterham and westy on the straights

I had a little chase with the MNR in my first session, would have made a good vid, but hadn't fitted the camera. I don't think he'd have troubled you.
