Set of race style Mini body moulds to fit spaceframe
Glass fibre Mini moulds
Based around a MK1 Mini these moulds were made for a body to fit a ZCars copy chassis, but could be used for any spaceframe chassis or conversion.
The body is approximately 100mm shorter in height from roof to sill than a standard mini
The moulds comprise of the rear body section (five pieces) that bolt together and one piece front end (in3 pieces) , two rear wheel arches, a boot lid
cover, a T shape rap-around dashboard and a roof Air scoop and two piece drivers door mould.
Unfortunately the passenger door mould got damaged so a new one would need to be made from a mk1 door.
The wheel arches are a boxed shap for aggressive styling and to accommodate engine air intakes in the rear and the front vented to allow the escape
of wheel arch air pressure to help down force. The bonnet has a large air vent to allow for air passing through a front mounted radiator or front
venturi.
There was only one car built using these moulds and unfortunately I have lost all photographs (Dammed Computers) but I think you can get a reasonable
indication of the stunning style and race looks from the moulds themselves.
