old ford gearbox identification
Hi all,
i have a couple of old ford gearbox's that came with my car when i bought it, i have no idea what they are what they came off. Is there a list
of ref numbers like on the diffs to help me identify them?
cheers.

Think that is probably correct, easy check on the first one if its a type 3 then it will have a 7/8" 20 spline input shaft, type "E"
will be 1" and 23 splines. HTH Ray
To make a car go faster, just add lightness. Colin Chapman - OR - fit a bigger engine. Chippy
